An October Wedding
The bride talked with me several months ahead of the wedding date, and we decided on a full wedding set with an Autumn theme. In September, she came out to the farm and we walked through the gardens, snipping the blooms and colors she liked the best. Then we stood in the field and made a bouquet for her to take home. I used the pictures we took that day to design the full set.
I used a lot of orange, crème, and pink colors, mostly dahlias, but sourced many of the fillers and greens. My favorites were the Astrantia -- I want to grow a whole field of it! Another stand-out was the white anemone with the black center.
When I delivered to the venue, the bridal party greeted me at the door with ooohs and aaahs. That was fun!

An April Wedding
The bride chose a romantic theme, white, greenery, and hints of blushy pink. This small wedding set consisted of the bridal bouquet, the maid of honor's bouquet, boutonnières for the groom and his best man.
The time of year lent itself to spring touches, like the pussywillow stems and fresh white lilies. The men wore pocket boutonnières, and the women carried bouquets with white silk ribbon wraps.
The flowers that made the set classy were the white scabiosa, bridal astilbe, pale pink rice flower, and pussywillow stems!
The bouquets made beautiful centerpieces at the intimate dinner party following the ceremony! So classy.
